As Specialist Maintenance Contractor to Copon-E. Wood Ltd.

As part of Northumbrian Water's ongoing general maintenance schedule, the exterior of the Silos were given their long awaited refurbishment. Other locations and sites and now to be scheduled for upgrades to suit the clients yearly budget and long term maintenance requirements.

Prior to painting the external previously painted areas were thoroughly degreased and abraded, prior to the application of the Copon Polycote Aluminium Primer and two component Copon AG Polyurethane UV colour stable finish. The special colour chosen by the client for this project was dark green 12. B. 29.

The client was delighted with the transformation and standard of workmanship achieved and has since used the Copon high performance materials on subsequent maintenance projects.
